Holiday Pet Care

Are you going away on holiday, for work or even a celebration?

Small animals, especially cats, can get very stressed in new environments when taken away from familiar scents, sights and sounds. This is why animal care professionals advise having pets cared for in their own homes to keep things as familiar as possible.

Our home visit service is the perfect option for your precious pets to remain calm and stress-free whilst you're away. We'll visit your pet multiple times a day to ensure they're safe, happy, healthy and spoil them with undivided attention. Along with putting down fresh food and water, we'll clean litter trays or cages and spend time giving them plenty of fuss and stimulation to keep both their mind and body active.

We care for all small animals such as cats, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, reptiles, guinea pigs, fish, rats or mice and chickens. However, if your pet isn't listed or if you have something a little out of the ordinary, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Security

At Silly Goose, our top two priorities are the welfare of your animals and the security of your home.

Our aim is to avoid drawing unwanted attention to an empty home. That's why we do not use branded vehicles or wear branded clothing when conducting our services. Each person also holds a clear DBS check for your peace of mind.

Added Extras & Updates

Alongside our pet care duties, we give your home that 'lived in' look by bringing in post, opening and closing curtains or blinds and switching lights on/off.

You'll also receive regular updates with how your pet and home are doing so you can fully relax knowing they are happy and in safe hands.

What next?

Give us a call or send us a message with a little information about what you require and when. We'll get back to you to discuss and arrange an essential, free home visit to get to know you and your pets. This will give you the opportunity to ask us any questions you may have, whilst allowing us to gain the vital information we need to ensure your pets receive the best possible individual care.

What greater gift than the love of a pet?

"We have used Shyanne at Silly Goose to look after our menagerie for countless years whilst we've been away on holidays. She loves all animals, so we've never needed to worry that tails or scales would put her off! Most recently she's cared for our degus who can be very timid around new people, but Shyanne is patient and caring and we were soon receiving videos of them happily chirping and taking treats from her!"
